Marissa is a Manager at Third Sector.

Over the last decade, Marissa has built expertise in assessing the effectiveness of community-based interventions and opportunities across policy and programming to improve equitable community food access, systematic infrastructure development, and capacity building across community networks. Marissa has also worked in policy and emergency response for local government, led a nonprofit for the economic development of farmers and food businesses, and served within a variety of roles across sectors of the food system. Marissa continues to lead local food policy efforts through her work on the Leadership Team of the New Jersey Food Democracy Collaborative.
