Laila Bravo is Managing Director, Project Impact. She is responsible for ensuring that Third Sector’s project teams are best positioned to lead our clients and partners in catalyzing changes that will transform government systems to be more responsive, equitable, and outcomes-driven.

Since joining Third Sector in 2015, Laila has held various roles, including leadership of project teams, leading large fundraising efforts, and building capacity as the organization has grown. In her current role, Laila sits on the Executive Team and provides oversight of all active projects including project staffing as well as operational and financial management of project work. She also oversees Third Sector’s impact and learning efforts and knowledge management strategy.

Laila brings two decades of experience working in the social sector with a focus on improving cross-functional collaboration to strengthen the impact of programs and services. Prior to Third Sector, Laila was an Associate Director at The Food Trust, a national leader in developing innovative solutions to improve healthy food access in underserved communities. 

While at The Food Trust Laila guided new project development, replicated programs through state and national partnerships, and directed fundraising efforts with major donors as well as with corporate and foundation partners. She led a successful initiative with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health and the School District of Philadelphia to scale food access programs citywide, including farmers' markets, school-based programs, and the organization's Healthy Corner Store Network.

Laila has a BA in International Studies from Vassar College (with a focus on political science and sociology) and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management (with a focus on management and strategy).
