Erika Wynn is the Marketing and Communications Manager for Third Sector. She leads storytelling and media relations efforts that elevate the organization’s mission and partnerships, helping to communicate the impact of equitable, community-driven public systems. Erika brings a decade of experience in strategic communications across the nonprofit and public sectors, with a passion for messaging that centers equity, access, and trust.

Before joining Third Sector, Erika consulted with nonprofits nationwide on strategic communications and digital storytelling focused on economic and workforce development, public safety, and community engagement. She previously held communications leadership roles at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, the City of Memphis Division of Housing and Community Development, and the Tennessee Human Rights Commission. In 2023, she also served as a communications strategist on the successful campaign for Memphis Mayor Paul Young.

Erika earned her B.A. in Journalism from the University of Memphis and is also a certified Pilates instructor. Outside of work, she enjoys teaching Pilates, traveling, and trying out local food scenes wherever she goes.
