Emma is a Manager based in New York. Prior to joining Third Sector, Emma led strategy and program development for a new public health entrepreneurship initiative, Firefly Innovations, at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy.
Emma graduated cum laude from Yale University with a B.S. in Psychology. While at Yale, she conducted clinical research on modes of resilience following early life trauma exposure and co-authored three peer-reviewed publications. Her dedication to enhancing community-based mental health care led her to design and implement an art-based support program for low-income adults at Fellowship Place, a community mental health center in New Haven. On weekends, Emma can be found spending time outdoors hiking or playing ultimate frisbee, curling up with a novel, testing out a new baking recipe, or learning songs on her ukulele.
