Erin is a Director in our Diversion & Reentry practice area based in Madison, WI. She has more than 15 years of experience in state government and nonprofit work, driving impactful program and policy strategies at the local, state, and national level. Prior to joining Third Sector, Erin managed multiple state projects under the Justice Reinvestment Initiative at the Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center. In this role, she provided high-intensity technical assistance, fostering consensus among diverse state, community, and legislative stakeholders to shape policy agendas and champion legislation to improve state systems.

Before the CSG Justice Center, Erin served as Treatment Director in the Reentry Unit at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, leading development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based interventions. As Treatment Director, she strived to improve program effectiveness and staff capabilities, partnering with community-based agencies and collaborating with executive state leaders. She also drove statewide program evaluation initiatives, leveraging the latest research and building partnerships to enhance service delivery and implement program improvements.

Erin holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Social Welfare and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin. In her free time, Erin enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband and their rescue pup Cal, discovering and traveling to new destinations, and home renovation projects.
