Webinar: A Conversation with San Diego Workforce Partnership on How WIOA Pay-for-Performance (P4P) Can Improve Business Practices and Lives and How to Apply 2Gen to Workforce on May 11, 2018
This webinar featured Brooke Valle, Vice President of Strategy, and Laura Kohn, Director of Center for Local Income Mobility, of the San Diego Workforce Partnership (SDWP). SDWP was recently awarded the WIOA Trailblazer Award for their innovations in implementing the WIOA regulations. Valle shared an overview of SDWP's process for launching a WIOA-enabled outcomes-oriented contract, followed by a Q&A. Kohn described SDWP's recent 2Gen efforts and engaged the Learning Community in a discussion around best practices and common challenges for implementing 2Gen approaches.
