Katherine serves as Third Sector's Managing Director in the San Francisco office, overseeing projects assisting clients nationwide in their transition to evidence-based, pay-for-success contracting. Her career has spanned the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. Prior to joining Third Sector, Katherine founded and led a food startup that leveraged evidence-based nutrition research to bring healthy lunches and culinary education programs to early childhood centers, with the goal of influencing long-term eating behaviors. She spent the early part of her career in management consulting, where she led organizational transformation projects for a client base including government organizations in the US and Abu Dhabi, international finance institutions, and international development funders. Katherine has had the privilege of working in the US, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, and has been known to throw a mean dinner party—on each of those continents.
She earned her M.B.A. as a Sloan Fellow at MIT’s Sloan School of Management, received an M.S. with distinction in Foreign Service from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. from Wellesley College.
