Emily is a Summer Manager in Third Sector’s Boston office. Prior to joining Third Sector, she worked in the New York City Mayor’s Office on program design, monitoring, and evaluation of the city’s anti-poverty initiatives in the Office for Economic Opportunity and Center for Youth Employment. There, she managed programs and public-private partnerships in the areas of workforce development, education, and mental health for the City’s lowest income residents. During her time at the Mayor’s Office, Emily oversaw a Pay for Success feasibility study examining the potential of employers as payers for retention services for their incumbent workforce, and a Social Innovation Fund grant to integrate mental health services into social service delivery.
Emily graduated summa cum laude from the CUNY Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College with a B.A. in political science. She is currently a Master in Public Affairs candidate at Princeton University.
