Eme is a Manager based in New York City. Prior to joining Third Sector, Eme worked in engineering consulting, supporting clients across the United States and the world. She developed innovative and sustainable solutions to existing infrastructure problems that also improved the lives of the communities her clients served. Much of her local work in New York City involved designing green infrastructure to improve the quality of NYC water bodies and increase green space in the city.
Eme graduated with a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University. While at Stanford, she conducted research related to waterborne diseases. This research investigated methods to improve mortality outcomes in children under five in rural areas of Bangladesh by improving access to clean drinking water, sanitation and education related to proper hygiene practices.
