As a Senior Associate in Third Sector’s San Francisco office, Dustin delivers feasibility assessments, technical assistance, and project construction support to government, nonprofit, and philanthropic clients. Dustin previously worked on governance, policy-making, and justice system challenges, first for the National Democratic Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization working to support and strengthen democratic institutions worldwide, and later for MyJustice, a European Union-funded program to increase access to justice in Myanmar. Dustin graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in Political Science and American Culture Studies, and holds an M.P.A. from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School. While at Princeton, he served as a mathematics tutor to incarcerated men and advised the New York City Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice on school-to-prison pipeline issues and arrest diversion programs.
Dustin has lived and worked in Indonesia, India, Myanmar, and Fiji. In his spare time, he volunteers as a Crisis Counselor with Crisis Text Line and explores the world by bicycle.
